Ujana Afrika is a For Impact Organisation at the forefront of driving sector reforms, influencing policy and systemic change in key sectors, such as Education, ICT & Digital economy and Youth Affairs. Through partnerships with State and Non-State actors, Ujana is able to address policy gaps and co-design suitable interventions to optimise intended outcomes.

Ujana prides itself in successful multi-stakeholder engagement and co-creating relevant and data driven interventions for state and non state actors.

Ujana is also a youth serving organisation whose aim is to empower youth with technical skills and give them equal access to lead dignified and fulfilling lives. Founded in the year 2018, we envision being TVET champions and a global agent of education reforms among the youth in collaboration with industry and academia.

• Through our various programs such as the “The Ujana TVET Advocacy Program”,  “Ujana Training Program” and ”Ujana Mentorship & Scholarship Program”, we have been able to fund and equip the youth with technical and 21st Century skills necessary for gainful employment, for self employment and self advancement. 

• We have also successfully placed over 500 youth in various innovator and accelerator programs, courtesy of our collaborations.

• Partnering with key Ministries in Kenya to promote policy dialogue and strengthen civic engagement i.e. Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports & The Arts and The Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy.
