In its promoting youth leadership area of work, the organization empowers young leaders through ensuring they are in institutions of learning and that they are able to access the much needed support to fulfill their potential.

Ujana Afrika’s founder is Lynette Mwende Ndile, a passionate social policy practitioner who has revolutionised education sector reforms through interpreting key evidence based research findings in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for policy action by multinational organisations. Through public policy advocacy, she has provided thought leadership on education sector reforms and used her voice to engage with state and non-state actors to drive policy action.

Lynette was the Youth Member in The Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms, 2022-2023.
